Stopped in to try the Altoona Sicilian as I was passing by, found a great spot here at 29th St! All the historic pictures and decor were neat to see as someone who hadn’t been to Altoona before, the pizza was tasty, and the staff friendly and engaged! Saw some of the sandwiches and will definitely be trying those the next time I’m in the area. Worth the stop!

The crew at the shop were very nice to my wife and I and made us feel accommodated and appreciated for our travel to their restaurant. It feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Altoona and I liked the Altoona style Sicilian. It is not the greatest pizza but it is very good and different. A pizza critic needs to come check it and have a good time with the local flavor slice. My only regret is not trying one of the hoagies there. Good job guys at 29th St!

Came out of the curiosity for the Altoona style pizza, stayed for the rest! The Stromboli is one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Great people, great ingredients, tried both the regular and cheesesteak and both were so delicious. Altoona style pizza is personally not my jam; but hey, I gave it a shot and with a try for all!

Ordered a large steak salad with ranch. I'm pretty sure this could feed 4 people. Will definitely be back $10 per person is AMAZING

When you're in a place, eat the thing from the place. Altoona Hotel style pizza is that thing. It was good, but the regular New York pie was ALSO really good.

Great food, went there to try the Altoona Sicilian pizza which was very good. My grandfather had a steak hoagie, which he said was delicious. I was most impressed with the owner. Very pleasant person and when he was told by us I had an upcoming operation he offered to say a prayer over the upcoming surgery I was having. Definitely will be going back again once I recover from surgery.
